Week Notice
Wheatland Express transports thousands of guests aboard its train each year. Our tours are in high demand, and as such, we require the media to provide a minimum of one week’s notice when planning visits and either live or taped segments. Providing this notice will help the Wheatland Express provide uninterrupted service to our guests, and allow our staff the opportunity to respond to requests associated with the story/segment. The more notice given, the better equipped the railway is to meet each request.
Release Forms
Please complete Wheatland Express General Release Form (PDF) and send it to us via e-mail (reservations@wheatlandexpresstrain.ca) before your arrival.
Onsite Media Contact
Wheatland Express requires that a member of the Railway staff escort the media. This onsite contact will be present during all filming. If you have not received on onsite contact with 48-hours of a planned visit, please contact us via e-mail.
Interviews
Wheatland Express’s operations director will coordinate interviews for members of the media. To preserve our experience, Wheatland Express does not permit “Man on the Street” style interviews.
Filming En Route
Wheatland Express asks that any requests to film en route be made at the time the filming or segment is confirmed, as special arrangements must be made.
