Bessborough Hotel
Considered one of Canada’s grand railway hotels, The Delta Hotels Bessborough is a historic hotel located in beautiful downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Bessborough was designed by Archibald and Schofield for Canadian National Hotels, a division of the Canadian National Railway.
Wheatland Express is proud to operate on a former Canadian National branch line and is pleased to keep the connection alive through a partnership with the Delta Bessborough Hotel for accommodations for its guests. Historic Railway Hotel tours may be available.

Champêtre County

Come take a trip to Little Big Town in 1892 and spend the afternoon traveling across the prairie with a cast of interactive characters. Larry Krause
The past years have found Larry Krause across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, BC and out to the East Coast, playing the traditional, roots style of Western, Cowboy and Country Gospel music that keeps folks coming back. A regular performer at the Calgary Stampede, he has presented his solo ”Cowboy Campfire Evenin” concert series across Western Canada. From Concert Halls to around the fire after a long Cowboy day, and just about everything in between. His songwriting and performance style feature songs and stories of the people, places and times, long past and recent, that laid the foundation for the West that we know today.
We’re thrilled to announce that Larry Krause, a key player in Wheatland’s success since our opening in 2018, will be lending his talent to the upcoming Little Big Town experience prior to the boarding of our Train Heist and Murder Mystery excursions this season.
