Donny Parenteau and his band  are aboard the Wheatland Express! Often described as one of the most versatile and dynamic country music singer-songwriters in Canada. 

Passengers will board the train for a round-trip journey alive with nostalgia. Breathe in the crisp, clean air, take in the expansive living skies as you explore each of our historic refurbished railcars. Out your window, view Saskatchewan’s vast mixed agriculture and diverse grasslands as you feel the rhythm of the train. 

Enjoy a stop in Wakaw, where you can visit Little Big Town, our western town front, immersing yourself in a time gone by. Be sure to catch Donny’s acoustic teaser prior to our big performance late in the evening. 

Upon return to our departure point, passengers will disembark for the nearby local community hall for a fresh, locally inspired gourmet dinner prepared by our partner Picknik’s Catering. But first, join us while we honour 2023’s Canadian Railway Hall of Fame recipients. After delighting our taste buds, a full concert will complete the experience.
