Legion Tribute Train

About The Tour

Join us for the Legion Tribute Train, a special excursion celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Hosted by the Wheatland Express, this commemorative event brings the community together to honour those who have served while enjoying a scenic railway experience through the beautiful Wakaw countryside.

Guests will board the excursion train for a 3.5-hour journey, featuring Legion presentations, storytelling, and moments of reflection recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of veterans. The day also includes activities in Little Big Town, a ribbon cutting for the new Legion Tribute Garden, and opportunities to explore the museum and station grounds.

This meaningful event is part of the Wakaw Legion #195 Day celebrations, combining history, community, and a memorable train experience.
