Covid Statement / Updates

The public health order requiring mandatory indoor masking and self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 through a PCR or at-home rapid antigen test is no longer in effect as of 12:01 a.m. February 28.

Public Health still strongly recommends immediate self-isolation for anyone who tests positive for COVID-19.

Businesses, workplaces and event organizers may request that patrons/visitors/staff/students continue to mask. Masking will not be mandatory. It is important that everyone is kind and respectful of individuals’ choices.

Proof of Vaccination is no longer required

The public health order requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test for public access into specific places expired on February 14. In addition, employees of provincially regulated organizations no longer have to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test.

Municipalities, businesses, workplaces and event organizers may choose to continue requiring proof of vaccination or negative testing even without the public health order.
